The other day Ben got me some Krispy Kreme doughnuts and lots of sweets.I was in my element and it was so cute of him.I have college 4 days a week now,so i'm constantly tired and i should probably be asleep now instead of writing this, but i can't help myself.I'm really enjoying everything lately,i couldn't ask for anything more.
I got a letter yesterday from the doctors about possibly getting my ears pinned back.If you know me you will know how insecure i am about them.Ever since i was little they have been big, they don't stick out loads compared to some people's but enough to make me be embarrassed by them.My auntie use to call me nelly(the elephant) and it never use to bother me because i was so young to even understand. But as I've grown up the nickname has never left and friends have said they are big but then go on to say they are cute. But i just don't see why people need to comment on them,i don't go around pointing other peoples flaws out.So anyway after years of me being insecure and never wearing my hair up so that people can see my ears i finally plucked up the courage to go the doctors to see if i would be a possible candidate for the operation.Yesterday the letter said that it is available to have on the NHS meaning i wouldn't have to pay and that she has referred me to a surgeon who will get in touch sometime soon.I'm so excited.Although when i see the surgeon they may not agree with me and think they are as bad as what i make out,it would just be nice to finally feel comfortable and not be embarrassed to show them anymore.I've had enough of hiding them away,i've done it for years.Even if the operation goes ahead,i at least know i tried and that's better than never knowing what the outcome would be. Also i got tickets to see dry the river in Liverpool on the 24th October '12.I'm looking forward to it alot,it should be an amazing night. They were only £8 each which is so cheap considering how good they are.If you haven't heard of them, then you should check their website out: http://www.drytheriver.net/gb/home/
Mossley Hill Manor House Trip:Today i went to an amazing manor house with college to look at historic costumes from the 1700's to 1880.The house itself was amazing,it was so grand and i would have loved to live there. But the actual trip was boring as we were only in one room and it lasted for about half an hour. The weather was dreadful as well so i was soaked by the time i even arrived at college then i had to walk around all day damp with soggy feet. Here are some pictures of my day.
Late night port sunlight bike ride: The other day me and Ben went for a bike ride to Port Sunlight at midnight roughly.I'm not much a confident rider so in the night i was even worse but as time went on i progressively got slightly better. It was amazing to be able to cycle around the streets in the dark with just street lights on,and hardly any cars or people being in the way.It just felt so free.We stopped by the fountain so Ben could take pictures and it was so nice just sitting around talking.I would love to do it again, but maybe when i'm better at riding, otherwise i will end up crashing into lampposts. Here are some pictures that Ben took.Enjoy.
I have had such a nice weekend and couple of days.Me and Ben went to eastham ferry just for a walk whilst the weather was nice, but the sea smelt so bad so we decided to go somewhere else.Instead we went for a meal in the Royal Oak.As usual i got a pizza and ben got his burger. But when my pizza came it was massive,i tried so hard to eat it all but i was defeated by food and only managed half of it.Afterwards we went to another pub and got deserts, they were amazing.I love the fudge cake there it's so nice. After we had ate we went to bens house and just had a really nice night in.Then this monday gone we both started college again and this year he is coming to the same one as me.I'm so happy about it.I can't wait for the rest of this year now.
So on the 25th August i went to a place in south wales called Porthcawl for a week.I thought it would just rain and be a typical caravan get away, but i was actually surprised how nice it was there and how the sun was out, which was a bonus! The beaches were a few minute walk away and we could see the sea from our window. We also went to Cardiff whilst away,i loved it there. All the shopping centres and historic buildings. It was just a really nice city to visit. Here are some pictures i took whilst away.
